In today’s society it is very important to know your rights and responsibilities. This is especially true for adolescents who, despite their imaginary adult life, are not yet morally and socially mature, who need to be helped to deal with such difficult legal and moral issues.
In the framework of the prevention of offenses in the youth environment on February 21, 2019 in the KPPU of construction and design was held a meeting of students of groups 16 and 31 with a leading specialist in the Division of Legislation, Legal and Legal Systems Systematization, the Department of Registration of Legal Acts, Legal Work and Legal Education of the Main Territorial Justice Department in Kyiv – Garbuzenko Karina Anatolievna.
The main task of the meeting is to increase the legal culture of students, to raise respect for the law, to feel responsible for their actions and the formation of law-abiding behavior.
Karina Anatolievna emphasized the issues of adherence to the rules of safe behavior, healthy lifestyle. Particular attention was paid to the issue of the use of compulsory measures of educational influence on juveniles who committed a crime, on administrative and criminal responsibility for the use and distribution of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, and the emergence in alcoholic beverages in public places.
The lawyer answered the students’ questions, reminded them of their compliance with the Code of Ukraine on administrative violations, the implementation of generally accepted rules and norms of conduct in society.
Acknowledging this meeting, teenagers learned about the various risk situations that minors get and how to prevent them, about the responsibility of minors and the consequences of involuntary acts. The conversation turned out to be interesting, instructive and cognitive.
